Modly Update!

Hello! There has not been a modly update in quite a long time, but do not fear. Things have have been running smoothly and we certainly hope that they continue to do so.

This post is simply to announce that, hey,

singularity is a paid community now and will be until at least the end of July! I recently got some free paid time for creating a couple of layout themes, and as I don't need it, I thought having a shiny search feature over here would be awesome. So now there's a link to search the community over in the sidebar!

If anyone has any comments, suggestions, or complaints, feel free to leave them here. I'll screen the comments so everyone can feel free to say whatever they want and unscreen anything of a generally happy nature.

singularity's second monthly fic challenge!

Time Travel Challenge

Time travel was a big component of new movie (and every version of the series), so the challenge for this month is time travel! I don't have any spiffy graphics as we're in the middle of moving ~~and I sorta forgot I needed to do this~~. Rewrite Star Trek IV with the new cast! What's temporal investigations doing in the new universe? Is the Guardian of Forever still still playing the ultimate slide show of history?

The Rules:

1. Have fun.

2. 500 word minimum (not that we're gonna count).

3. Deadline: July 15th (or thereabouts. Basically whenever the next challenge gets posted).

4. Stick Challenge 2 somewhere in your header and tag your fic challenge 2

5. Have fun!!!

Reminder

Poll results

The poll results have come in mostly in favor of doing some kind of monthly challenge. I can't give you all exact numbers as my computer has gone boom and I'm posting this from me gf's phone. We haven't made any decisions yet on how we'll handle challenges/fic length/posting date and probably won't until I get my computer back early next week. I just didn't want anyone to think that I'd forgotten about it. Also, there was some intrest expressed in the comments regarding a challenge community if anyone out there wanted to jump on that and start/run one.
