You Are Whatever A Moon Has Always Meant

Author's Notes: This story was written for the 2009 K/S Advent Calendar ([profile] ksadvent2009) as an epilogue to my recent holiday story, The Things That Sustain Them, although I think it can stand alone as well. (It also exists in the same universe as my first STXI story, The Things You See and The Way You See Them, because that made sense to me. Apparently, I wrote a triptych. Who knew?)

Apologies to folks who are seeing this multiple times on their flists!

Title: Help, I'm Alive (2/?)
Pairing: Kirk/Spock
Rating: R for now, but things could get sexy later
Warnings: Language!
Notes: See chapter 1. This chapter is dedicated to [personal profile] leupagus and [personal profile] mortigi_tempo, two writers I fangirl over who seemed to get pretty excited over the first part of this. Beta-read by [personal profile] rhaegal.
Chapter Summary: In which genocide is not appropriate dinner conversation and nobody has sex in a hide-a-bed, but Jim does get shoved into a thinly-veiled closet metaphor.

Jim recommends the trout.
