Notes: So daphnie_1 and I were having this conversation about how we feel Reboot!Kirk would have handled Reboot!Spock going to Gol to complete the Kolinahr ritual yet opting instead to return to Starfleet (and Kirk) considering Reboot!Kirk's more prevalent abandonment issues (his father dying on the day of his birth, his mother having a career in Starfleet, his brother running away, etc.)... the problem: Vulcan was destroyed in the Reboot 'verse, there is no Gol, and only a slim probability that a small number of Kolinahr masters survived the implosion. Thus this fic was born, a Roboot look at why Spock might leave, and how Jim would view his coming back. ;-)
